ICE Experience 2026 is officially underway in Las Vegas, and Lender Toolkit started the week with a memorable evening at the Sphere.
To kick off the mortgage industry’s largest mortgage technology conference, we hosted a group of lenders, partners, and industry friends for a private reception followed by the immersive Sphere production of The Wizard of Oz.
Guests gathered in the Sphere’s private bar before the show for drinks and conversation, reconnecting with colleagues from across the industry before heading into the venue for one of the most unique entertainment experiences in Las Vegas.
A Classic Film Inside the World’s Most Advanced Venue
The Sphere’s version of The Wizard of Oz is far more than a movie screening. The classic film has been enhanced for the venue’s massive 16K LED display and immersive spatial audio system, placing viewers inside the story.
Throughout the show, physical effects transform the film into a fully immersive experience. During the famous Kansas tornado scene, wind and motion effects sweep through the audience. Snow falls over the crowd during the poppy field sequence, and butterflies appear as Dorothy arrives in Oz.
One of the most talked-about moments of the night happened during the apple orchard scene when foam apples dropped from the ceiling. A few lucky attendees from our group managed to catch one, earning a fun piece of Sphere memorabilia.
Moments like these make the production feel less like watching a film and more like stepping into the world of Oz.
A Great Start to ICE Experience
Events like ICE Experience bring together mortgage professionals from across the country to share ideas, explore new technology, and connect with peers.
Starting the week with a shared experience like the Sphere is a reminder that some of the most valuable conversations happen outside the conference floor. We’ve done the Supercar Experience for 4 years and thought it was time to switch it up. The feedback we got was that this was even better (from Rob Chrisman, no big deal).
